Rooftop Gardens – the first and only rooftop bar and restaurant in Norwich is located on the top floor of The Union Building. Rooftop Gardens boasts breathtaking, panoramic views of the city and is set to become one of Norwich’s most unique venues.
The restaurant’s appeal is not limited to its fantastic views though; the owners – who already own several other hospitality businesses along the Norfolk and Suffolk coastline – are keen to serve up some of the very best food and drink the city has to offer. Sourcing only the finest, local ingredients, Rooftop Gardens has its sights set on becoming a destination restaurant and bar within the Norwich food and drink scene.
The interior has been beautifully designed by local company TWP Designs and has the capacity to seat up to 150 people inside. There are also two open-air terraces with retractable all weather roofs, which adds seating for an additional 300. The use of curved booths and a clever seating plan makes the most of the incredible views. There are many quirky features that add to the uniqueness of Norwich’s first rooftop bar and restaurant – including the covered grassy outdoor areas complete with artificial waterfalls- perfect for alfresco dining.
Rooftop Gardens will offer a diverse, yet carefully designed menu that will appeal to a variety of tastes. From steaks to seafood and salads to sandwiches, the Rooftop Gardens has something to suit all tastes. As well as the full menu, there will also be a light menu, ideal for lunches or smaller appetites.
An extensive drinks menu has also been curated including the wine list, which has a selection of over 50 fine wines from around the world at a range of price points. A cocktail menu will also be available, with many of the tried and tested classics making an appearance alongside some quirky creations rustled up by award winning qualified mixologists.
